Transforming Anger into Action and Human Kindness

E-motions are meant to move through us. When emotions are not processed, they can cause stress to our mind and body.
Let’s MOVE those EMOTIONS and bring back BALANCE!
In this workshop you will learn ways to express emotions which may be hard to fully put into words through somatic movement. Somatic movement is a creative way to engage with your emotional, mental, energetic, and physical being by connecting to your body’s Inner Wisdom. You are wiser than you know and by tapping into your body’s inner wisdom through breath and movement you can help create a better mental and emotional balance within your body. This workshop offers a different and creative way to move through emotions you may experience in life with confidence, courage, and creative expression!
This 3 hour workshop will include the following:
-Introductions
-Education on the mind, body and energy connection to emotions
-Connect to your personal body wisdom through mindfulness and breath
-Exploring Anger in animalistic playful way and somatic movement exercise
-Transforming Anger to Action
-A choreographed Dance of Human Kindness
-Sharing circle (optional)
If you are looking for a safe supportive space to process, express or work through emotions that are hindering your daily life, this is a great opportunity to approach your emotional health in a new way!
We as facilitators are passionate about providing new ways to create awareness, embody and process emotions for better mental health and wellness in our community.
